１．神の言葉
旧 新約聖書は、書かれた神の言葉である。それは、聖霊に動かされるままに書きまた語った献身した人々をとおし、神の霊感によって与えられた。この言葉をとお して、神は、救いに必要な知識を人間に与えられた。聖書は、神のみこころの誤りのない啓示である。聖書は、品性の標準を示し、人間の経験を吟味し、権威を もって教理を啓示する。聖書は歴史における神のみわざについて信頼できる記録である。
ペトロ第２・1：20、21、

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
